I have two 3mnth old doxin/terrrier mixes. The last 3 days they have been vomitting and have had diaharrea. They can't keep anything in them and if they do it sort of squirts out of them. It's gotten to the point that when they get up it just starts coming out and up. I know it's gross, but I'm asking b/c there are no vets that I trust in my town any more. Does anyone know of any home remedies that I could us on them?

hi, i actually work for a vet, it really sounds like parvo to me, where did you get them, is the stool bloody and smell really bad? parvo has a real distinct smell and it is really bad. the best thing i could tell you is take them to a vet asap. parvo is highly contagious and could be deadly. it is so bad to watch a dog go through this, it simply takes over their poor little bodies in no time, with treatment some get better, its a 50-50 chance, and it may not be parvo but i would defintley get them in somewhere

Have they been vaccinated for Parvo? It's a very common and deadly virus the puppies can contract. You need to see a vet or Co-op for some medicine VERY quickly.

Give them a teaspoon each of plain yogurt 2 x's a day. This helps settle their stomach and works wonders. Do that for one or two days and it will def. help!

Oh poor babies, please take them to a vet, even if you don't like them. My poor baby yorkie was doing that before he died, he had licked up some 409 and got poisened. I didn't know it. Good luck.
