I've tried everything with this guy, flirting, playing hard to get.
Would it help if I pretended not to give a rat's a**?

Sometimes it depends on the guy. Guys want what they can't have. Play hard to get for a little while and if he doesn't do anything then just be yourself. It all depends on the guy. Good luck!!! :)

hey gothica
chances are he doesn't give a rat's a** so i think you should move on.
if he cares for you at all you'll know.
if you want the quickest solution just ask him if he would consider going out with you.. the worst that can happen is he might say no..but then you wouldn't have to keep wondering and you can finally move on to someone who does give a rats a** about you..

Not likely. You know, Sometimes there is nothing you can do to make someone like you.Besides that wouldn't you rather have someone that truly liked you on their own rather than someone you had to try and convince?
If I was you I wouldn't give a rats *** for real and move on to someone more worth the time.

you dont nessessarily have to pretend you dont like him. Just act very busy. your not that interested because you have alot of other stuff going on. And then you dont even have to fake it. GET BUSY. Find some things to do. Then the guy thinks wow shes interesting, and she'll probably have a life and wont have to rely on me for every breathe she takes.

Oh I hate that stuff. So my answer is NO. If a woman acts aloof and non-chalant, I figure shes not interested and move on. But I'm a very direct person, so thats what I like in a woman.

You'll probably only end up convincing him that you're not interested in him. You say you've tried everything, have you tried actually asking him out rather than waiting for him to ask you?

yeah- if the guy likes to be the "chaser"

and as long as u leave it at pretending not to like him-not pretending to hate his guts

It might work or he is not interested in a relationship with you.

It depends... if you can't be yourself and get a guy then he's not worth getting :p.
