The reason your comp. probably asked you to download the lastest flash player is because you most likely have programs that require the latest version of flash player and sometimes programs dont work as efficient. So I say YES!!....download it. Good luck.

1> Internet Browser ur using might corrupted. 2> Download cCleaner, uninstall ur current browser & flash player plugin as well as activeX, run cleaner after selecting all options. 3> Install newer version of browser. Install flash from adobe's site only. 4> Download Mcafee Site advisor/ AVG site advisor just to ensure, in which area ur roaming. so this mistake wont happen again.

Yes, you have your computer set to notify you for updates so its legitimate. If you recieve a pop-up when visiting a site that is a redirection to another site for something free or just anything random this typically is illegitimate.

Yes, go ahead and allow it. Flash is what is known as a free "plug in" program that automatically plays videos in your browser. It is legitimate and a good thing to keep updated.

if it was a pop up from the system tray, yeah. it's totally legit, visit www.macromedia.com for more information or download it from there if you're weary about the precedence of the pop up, if it is, it wont bother you after you install the latest flash player.

If its a pop-up...like an internet explorer page...be wary. Now if it is a GUI (graphical user interface)...otherwise looks like a windows menu, those can usually be trusted. Those usually happen with macromedia flash and java

This is normal. When you boot your computer, and connect to the internet, you will receive pop ups if there have been updates to your software.

So, its perfectly legitimate.
