Hello Sinner! I am against killing, period. But, what if we did take that money and our men away from Iraq? Are we, as humans and children of God, not responsible for our neighbors, no matter who they are? Can we leave them helpless? They've tried to defend themselves, but have failed.
I think God looks at us and sighs. If the guns would ever stop killing, and we listen carefully, we just might hear a sigh of relief from Him. Woe to us if He decides to give a good shake to rattle us to our senses.
Happy Christmas, Sinner

And while you're feeding the hungry, our soldiers are dying because that money that was meant to protect them with armor, food, weapons and equipment isn't there. Hey, I"d love to get them out of Iraq, but that will take time. IF we pull them out, that won't stop the violence. There are talks going on now about how to pull out that won't cause a backlash in the Iraqie government and more bloodshed. NO one likes the war in Iraq, but some of us actually pay attention to whats going on besides the hate spewing forth against our own government.

Give it to them. Yes it was a mistake going in but 5 inteligence agencys from around the world including the Massad, Mi6 and CIA said that sadam had WMDs. If we left them alone and he really did have them then you wouldnt have your precious poor to worry about because they would be atoms right now. Leaving or shorting out money is gonna do nothing but encourage violance and leave our troops without aid. And without our troops wed have alot more troble on our hands then feeding and clothing the meek.

do you vote, were you ever in the service, or did you just sit back and think that everything we have in this country was just given to us. look at history, there wasn't a prolong peace since Rome, that's because they conquered everybody they came into contact with. the poor in this country live like kings compared to all of the third world countries. spoiled brat!

I think they should take that 1 billion out ofthe lobbyists pockets, add another billion, get the war over with, and start building houses for the widows and orphans abandoned by their Islamic government

Agreed. The Iraq invasion was the biggest mistake the United States ever made. They've painted themselves into a corner and they don't have a clue.

Its disgusting. The US has many more important problems. Like fixing the terrible damage to the south from Katrina. The ninth ward still isn't livable.

I think that money should go to help poverty stricken families, research for diseases, and better education. I have a friend that is from India and she says "that American education isn't half what it is in India".
