it takes at least 22 hours if its non -stop. my co-worker travels to china very often for business meetings.. our office is located in long island ny .. i hope that answers your question.

Leaving from JFK ? it takes you roughly 15 hours if going non-stop. If you connect in say, tokyo, LA, ect.. you can tack on an extra hour or so of air time and whatever your connecting time is.
