This will sound like an old fashioned remedy, but drink some warm milk before bedtime. Milk contains calcium, which works directly on jagged nerves to make them (and you) relax. Trust me, it really works.

I have so much the identical difficulty. I discover the fine is consuming hot milk with a drizzle of honey. Don't learn or watch TV, play pc video games and so forth for an hour earlier. Have a hot bathe or meditate, and even opt for a jog, perform a little variety of bodily endeavor. Erm, even supposing you aren't getting to sleep until two within the morning, make certain you're getting up while each and every morning. Try and normalize your hobbies. Failing that cross to a medical professional to take a look at and organise counselling, nonetheless medicines for sleep over an extended interval are on no account a well suggestion! They can end up addictive and hardly ever paintings for extraordinarily lengthy.

Don't go to bed until you feel tired. I sometimes make the mistake of going to bed just because the clock says a certain time. Take a book with you and read a few chapters, put on a easy listening c.d. or radio station and make sure you are warm. If you can, try to avoid caffine after 4pm. A warm bath or shower always helps me to relax. Also, if you can, DO NOT think about what needs to be done, think about things that make you smile (family, friends, special somone) you should fall asleep with ease. Sweet Dreams.

what works best for me, is to wear a blindfold to bed. it works great at blocking out light, and i usually don't wake til the alarm goes off. you should be able to drift off to dreamland within 10 minutes.
