The answer is NO. Ibuprofen and Paracetamol (constituent of Lemsip) have a similar effect on the cardio-vascular system, and it would effectively be the same as taking a double-dose. If you wait 4-6 hours, then it should be safe to take your Lemsip. Lemsip also helps you to enjoy the 'feel better' effect through its other ingredients including the lemon.
Why people refer to colds as 'stinking' I do not know, as when you have a cold your sense of smell is severly impaired due to the mucus in the nasal passages blocking the sensory receptors in the top of the nose!

Not for at least 4 hours as lemsip contains paracetamol;

Why is it stinking? Check the labels, it should be o.k as lemsip is paracetamol and ibuprofen is nsaid and you can mix these. When my two year old was in hospital they told me to give her both two hours apart, so it must be fine for an adult

I think lemsip contains paracetomol. You CAN take paracetomol and ibuprofen together, but you must check the ingredients of both packets to check you are not double-dosing on either paracetomol or ibuprofen. You CAN'T take ibuprofen and aspirin together.

Ibruprofen is an NSAID drug, paracetamol isn't. You can't mix different Nsaids but you can take paracetamol with an NSAID such as ibuprofen. you can't take aspirin at the same time as ibruprofen as it is also an NSAID. Always check the package, and if in doubt contact NHSdirect or a pharmacist.

Feel better soon.

The danger would be paracetemol overdose. Check the Ibuprofen packet to see if it contains any - if yes, don't take any lempsip (which does).

La Sorra - the only advice I can really offer you is lay off the drugs mate.
