There ave been some species that have been parthenogenetic like forever.

Science may be finding ways to tinker with cells, etc. so more will be able to do such; maybe even totally eliminate the need for men, or so they think.

But what happens in a pond, or in the Zoo, only pales in comparison to what happened in Nazareth that time 2000 years ago.

I ALMOST WONDER IF IT IS THE START OF AN EVOLUTIONARY PERIOD FOR THEM...IT SAYS THAT SOME REPTILES ARE ASEXUAL...AND THAT THIS PARTICULAR ONE NOT...UNTIL RECENTLY.....MAYBE THEY WERE JUST A LITTLE SLOWER ON THE EVOLUTIONARY CHANGE.
OR MAYBE B/C THERE ARE VERY FEW OF THEM...THEY HAVE LEARNED TO COMPENSATE FOR THE MISSING PART (THE MALE).
