How would you have shown the entire world your complete love for them. He showed it with the sacrifice of his only son, but some say that was too harsh. would you have done the same or would it have been less violent?

I'd give my creation what it deserved, no bloodshed required.

If I were the one true God - I'd have left my creations alone and not demanded that they worship me. Then - when they screwed it all up, I would have come back (in such a public and supernatural way that they'd know I was real, and pissed), and explain to them that I'm only fixing the world once and if they couldn't play nice together there was nothing I could do to help them. Then I'd fix everything wrong with the planet, give them the technology for clean burning fuels or other methods of power generation, do a tour to meet with all the religious leaders and explain to them how they have it wrong or right and how things should be (and that they have to get me saying this ON FILM and broadcast it to the entire world or I'll smite them) , and then I'd leave and hope humanity learned something from the experience.

If I had complete love for them, why would I demand that someone die to redeem them in the first place?

Why would I demand sacrifice from those I love? I wouldn't need to.

If I was the one true God, I wouldn't have to care what people were doing in my creation, because they would all be part of me, and I would be perfect, so they would be perfect.

I would show my love for the entire world by making them see that they're all part of me, that they only exist "in the world" temporarily, as a manifestation of me, and that Reality is not only the material world but the eternal spiritual as well. I would make this obvious by letting people move their consciousness out of their bodies and back, so they wouldn't become so attached to the idea of separation and alienation.

Unfortunately God used bad judgment when he let his son die. He didn't realize that the majority of people on this planet choose not to be Christian and could care less about Jesus Christ. If God with His power could have given His son immortality, he would still be alive today working his miracles. What other religion could compete with that? Instead look at the religion chaos today. God can show his love for mankind by coming down once more and naming his favorite religion. Right now every religion claims to be God's true religion. They're all lying except one and God (not a religion) has to name it.

I would appear every generation or so and show people I exist and that I'm nice. If they still chose to not believe in me, I'd say, "That's ok, I'm not going to punish you for it. You'll see me again when you die"

*it's really hard to 'prove' love so I'd just tell people I wanted the best for them, that I was on their side, I forgive 'mistakes' and heaven was a great place but I'd still let them make their own decisions. I don't know how I could keep people from doing 'bad' things though.

hmmm.....well, first, I wouldn't create a world as a test for people to see whether or not they love and accept me enough, with consequences being either eternal love or eternal torture. Seems kinda odd...
Next, I wouldn't create a world in which people can hurt each other....especially children.
Well, there's a couple of ideas for you....we could probably go on and on.

I wouldn't have played hide-and-seek that's for sure. god is TOO good at that game, he should have realized this... i would have made myself evident, clear, visible... i would have written my name on the moon. i would have talked to individuals in their living rooms.... maybe on one night every year i would split up and manifest myself as many many humans and visited everyone on earth at the same time. if you prayed to me your answer would come immediately and in the form of a letter or an audible answer. basically, there would be no question that i was there.

The idea of someone suffering to appease an angry God is nonsense.

Foolishness made up by religion to frighten and control people.

Love and blessings Don
