My credit score is between 520-530 and I don't own a home... is there any where I can get a personal loan? I already have one of those payday advances, so that's not an option. Am I screwed or what?

I recently came across this site looking up something to help a similarly financially screwed friend over in the US: http://www.prosper.com which is basically similar to UK site http://www.zopa.com (Which was working towards launching in the US as well as here in the UK.. which is what i was looking up)

www.cashcall.com doesn't look at your credit. they loan up to $2K, i think.
