orange juice is always good for the immune system. My doctor always told me that if im starting to feel ill I should have some orange juice other than that start giving him his medications right away and don't miss a doce. My son has never had a cold for more that 2 to 3 days, and it's always just a small cough. He is 3 yrs. old.

If the child is showing symptoms of a cold such as cough, congestion, fever, or runny nose, you can get minor medications like pediatric robitussin or triaminic cold and cough. Although Pediatric robitussin and pediatric triminic( cold and cough) will get rid of a minor cold, you will need to also purchase tylenol or motrin for the fever, if one occurs. If the child gets worse or fever persist for more than 2 days, you need to see your pediatrician. Ear infection or upper respiratory infection can have cold symptoms also. If it is a minor cold, the child should feel better on the simple meds I named above.Plenty of fluids like orange juice is the best home remedy for babies.

Wrestle him down and drop some saline nasal spray solution in his nose a couple times a day.

Its the different between a stuffy nose for a few days, and a full blow cold and post nasal drip cough.

Kiwi has more Vitamon C than oranges! I always have plenty at home and lucky for me, my daughter always asks for them. I let her have as many as she will eat.
