Not everyone who proclaims to be Christian is a Christian the same with many things people claim to be.

Why are so many Muslims on Yahoo Answers so unlike Mohamed whom they claim to follow?

Why are so many Buddhists on Yahoo Answers so unlike the Buddha they claim to follow?

Why are so many Jews on Yahoo Answers so unlike the God they claim to follow?

Insert any religious leader/religion into your question, they are all the same. Everyone thinks that they are right and are intolerant of other beliefs. Your question insinuates the same lack of tolerance.

I think what happens is, if you read some of the questions I find them to be extremely vulgar against God, terrible insulting and crude remarks. It angers me greatly to think that a human being could be so rude. Because we are people we can lose our cool. I have even read some atheist's answer that they found the question, very nasty, some have gone so far as to defend Christianity. Thanks for the reminder and I guess at times we all need to take a deep breath and give hugs to one another, So here goes HUGS to you.

Really!! and what makes you think you know any of those Christians if you don't know what is being Christ like is all about?! It is much easier for you, and people like you who would rather make fun of others, than really know those people.

Don't judge people. That is the only fair thing to do. by the way your question is very judgmental. just in case you didn't notice.

Merry Christmas

Sometimes it's simply because they are human. We screw up no less and no more than anyone else. We do seem to get condemned more because of the "Christian" label we carry. We Christians sometimes set the bar higher for others than we do for ourselves. Your question was a great reminder to me to be careful with the words I speak. Thank you

I am a very dedicated christian and unfortunately you are right. I have noticed that so many jump at a chance to criticize or outright malign others when they have the choice to just ignore them. It saddens me to see that those who bear his name are the ones who are the least like him. It is a weak and unstable faith that causes those Christians to defend their position with little more than a dose of spoon fed doctrine. To all those who have been turned off to the good news of Jesus because of those who claim to be his followers, I sincerely apologize.

In order to really know Christ we must first walk in his foot steps show the love and compasion from our hearts that he showed to others.I say talk to people about Jesus or God if they are willing to listen but dont forse it on them or condem them because they disagree or dont want to hear it.Everone chooses their own master.

Because since we are the ones fallowing Jesus, the devil proceeds to tempt us more. That doesn't mean that all of us are like that though. Hopefully I am not!
