The dentist said that over time there will be wearing and chipping of the anterior and that I will need a bite splint. He said that I can wear the splint to bed. I was just wondering how much it would cost for this procedure?

I WORK IN A DENTAL CENTER AND IT WOULD COAST YOU ABOUT 200.00

YOU COULD ALWAYS TRY THE ONES FROM THE STORE FIRST

Bite splints can run several hundred up to a thousand dollars. It is recommended to get one custom fitted from the dentist.

However, if you are on a budget, much like myself, I went to the local drug store and purchased something called the "Dentist's Night Guard". It is a malleable plastic that you heat with boiling water then bite on to mold to your teeth. This ran me about $25

It has worked well for me. I grind my teeth at night and get headaches in the morning. I find my headaches reduced, and my fiance pleased from no longer hearing my teeth grind!
