There are and have been a near infinite number of those willing to modify/repair God. Thankfully, the sub-ultimate cannot do such to the Ultimate w/o becoming a new Ultimate and thus failing in their task. The question - oxymoron.

I would suggest that God saw the need to modify you. That is the reason for the incarnation in Jesus Christ, why He died on the cross for your sins, and why He sent the Holy Spirit to work on your heart.
Because He is in the business of "modifying" people like you and me. And yet, even though He is God the Creator, He awaits your permission. Will you give it?

...Nice try. The Lord is God, He is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is righteous, loving, holy, faithful, all-powerful, all-knowing, and true.
...There is none like Him, and He is perfect - and you can't improve on perfection, now can you? He needs no repair.
...Why don't you study up on proper theology?

Yes, The God Machine periodically breaks down, that is why the skull-farmers do their rain-dance as blossoms fold.

If we had hir source code, we could do it. However, since we are missing the HTML of God, we are powerless.
We could create an updated version of the Satan.Hell.A virus that could at least gather some code...

God is perfection.
Present day "feel good" churches may wish to reinterpret God's message for the 21st century, but following their lead is as good as following atheism.
