My daughter and I are travelling to Africa this weekend, and she has been prescribed Malarone tabs (the pediatric dose). I know she will not swallow the tabs, but how do I get her to take it otherwise? I suspect that it is very bitter because I've heard that it can be crushed and mixed with Condensed Milk. Any pharmacists or doctors, please HELP ME!

Malarone is the only medicine she can take due to resistance to malaria of other meds in the country we're travelling to.

Crush the tablet into a fine powder and start with feeding her icecream and keep feeding her spoonful by spoonful then sneak in part of the medication into one of the spoonfuls of the icecream, etc.etc.etc
my child would not take any pills and that's how i managed with her.....but 1st i lined up 4 spoonfuls of icecream and sneaked the medication in one of them beforehand......VOILA it worked!!!
