everyone has a right to thier beliefs, i don't believe there is a god but thats just my opinion.

lad i work with is a Muslim and he said that atheists will be the first to burn in hell, looks like thats just his view on things.

i am a christian and i have a friend who is atheist but she wants to be a christian. Her dad is very ... lets say a nonbeliever but not only that but he needs god in his life... as well as their whole family. What I am saying is everyone needs someone to look after them on their life... to take rule for them. To spend your life happy with god or your beliefs is one thing and is how i understand god and other peoples beliefs a lot better but to also realize that if you are taking view as a muslim or a atheist that are you happy? If so think how much more happy you can be with a loving god. And no of course it may seem that i am pressuring you into a christian and i would not like you to be thinking that but think about it... Really think about it. And to answer your question well sure muslims should infact respect atheists. You need to know that everyone should respect everyone whether ther are atheist or muslim or christian and if muslims do not respect athesits then at least you know that that is not how you should be. Right? Respect everyone! =)

I can't speak for all Muslims, it would be a generalisation to answer this question either way, however, i'm a muslim and respect everyone whatever their beliefs..

From my experience Muslims respect Muslims. I've even had one tell me I should be killed because I was not Muslim. I find that they tolerate Christians and others only because they must in any free society and nation. Let them have control and I fear the worse would be upon us all... Christian, non, and especially the Jew.

Religion has nothing to with it.It's how we treat each other.As a Muslim i would treat you no different to anyone else and give you the same respect and expect the same from you.
