Uh, is that this a hidden advert for ZoneAlarm? It useful appears like it, based on your previous solutions to different persons's questions. besides, there's no such element as an anti-virus software that can capture all viruses and trojans. Anti-virus utility works via in actuality making a checksum of the code for a scourge/trojan; Scanned data are checked against a itemizing of virus/trojan checksums. If an anti-virus software does not have the checksum available whilst a scourge/trojan gets downloaded, then your gadget gets contaminated. Morphing viruses and trojans can exchange their software code, so even the unique checksum does not do something. Morphing code is available through fact with programming, there is diverse approaches you may write code to do a given job.

Norton Symantec is doing what its suppose to do, and that's to block any virus, adware, spyware, trojan horse, which if you did not know is exactly what limewire is, from infecting your computer, and I bet that all you wanted was to download songs, well, if you want to download songs why not use a safer method and that's to use windows media player 11,
If you do allow it to download then limewire will install tracking software onto your computer which sometimes is very hard to remove, unless that is, if you are an expert, so if you value your computer then don't expose it to any unnecessary threat.

Norton is doing its job and protecting you. These download sites are so dangerous. You can set it as a trusted site but then you will have to live with the consequences of the downloads, i.e. a badly infected PC. If you are determined to download this stuff no security will protect you. And if your security program does not protect you from Limeware, you need something better. I use Norton Internet Security and wouldn't use anything else. I have never had problems with it and it has protected my machine for years.

I Scrapped Norton as It was like a baby always wanting attention.
I installed AVG. AVG just sits and behaves itself.
When it notices I am downloading an infected file from Limewire
it jumps into action. Just what it says on the tin really.

Don't blame NAV for blocking anything from Lime wire - it has more viruses than an NHS hospital!
