Not scientific, but historical. We've survived all of these:

plague and black death
atomic warfare
pestilence
world war - twice
ice ages
floods
tornadoes
hurricanes
stock market crashes
hyperinflation
dust bowls that covered some of the most fertile land on earth.

If you think a bit, I'm sure you can come up with other examples. Yeah, we have problems, but I wouldn't count h. sapiens out just yet. We're an adaptable, resourceful, ambitious critter!

Thousands of years I think. Maybe longer. After all, we have survived for a very long time already, why not longer? Pollution? Bah! If it gets REALLY bad, some people will die, but the human race as a whole will go on.

For as long as we continue making love!

For as long as our biosphere will continue providing us the necessary elements to survive. Should we continue multiplying indefinitely on this same planet we shall consider rationing the resources.

Our species will eventually evolve, migrate into Space or face extinction, but to foresee how much longer it will last should the present conditions persist, it is an almost impossible task.

The world may never know, just like the question of " How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll pop?"
