I'm thinking about...?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about publishing one of my journals. I have a special talent for writing and have won several competitions in this field. The most exciting year of my life is coming up (this next year, 2007) and many things will be happening... of course I'll be keeping a journal, because I just do. But I was thinking about maybe looking into getting it published... I'll think about this as I write it, and possible change names, or if needed, embelish it a little. Many topics that will happen next year, I think some people would be inclined toward reading about, such as, me getting my drivers licence, going on a trip around the world, getting closer to graduation, staying steady with my boyfriend, the birth of my baby brother, and the most important :getting closer to God.
So, if you could, do you think you could tell me if this is something you think would be worth reading.. or if you have any tips about how to get something published Any advice or input would be appreciated

I am suprised you put this question in the medical category. However, I will answer your question because you sound like a smart person...

Since you have won several competitions, then you are probably familiar with "who's your audience". That is one of the biggest things you got to think about [is there an audience to sell my book to?] With that in mind, you would have to decide if your life is considered important enough that people would want to read about it. If it is and you think people would buy your book, then start creating your masterpiece. If you are not a famous person, then you may be out of luck with an autobiography unless your life is a mainstream topic.
