I'm a Pagan, and criticism from other communities is more hurtful because it is often false. Often Christianity will demonize Paganism and completely make up things that are not based in reality or repeat from unreliable sources, which can cause panic and hate towards Pagans.

No matter which it comes from, if it is factual, and is the opposite of what I have been taught it hurts. However, critisizm from those I trust( my community, if I had one) would hurt the most. Just remember, the truth will set you free ( unless you are dealing with Sharia law, then nothing works but bribes)

I try not to let any of it hurt, but I guess my own community if I were to pick. But I try to remember we are all human, capable of mistakes. Sometimes critism has more to do with the person critisizing than it has to do with the critisized.

Why would either hurt? If you know and understand yourself than criticism should not hurt.

If the criticism has validity you can learn a lot from it no matter what the source.

Neither. I'm secure in my choice of beliefs and nothing anyone can say will really effect that. If I feel good about it who cares what others say or think.
