You can try to win them when airlines or travel search engines (e.g. Expedia, Orbitz, SideStep, etc.) have contests; they may be one of the prizes.
Another thing you can do is to join the mailing list of an airline, or sign up for emails about updates and promotions.
They're very hard to find, and if you find one, there are usually lots of restrictions.

Discount codes?
I dont think they have those anymore.

The only thing you can really dois shop around a lot online, or call a travel agent and compare prices. Actual discount codes are not really issued anymore.
