I can see that some people just do not know to read the questions before they offer their opinions! Stop acting like a pack of wild dogs waiting to attack someone else for their beliefs! Some of you should practice a little self control, if you don't know don't answer have respect instead of trying to earn 2 points. LIVE AND LET LIVE!
A&E actually did a special on the topic of Indigo Children, and Yahoo has a Indigo Children group... These are some sites that can give you all the info you need on the subject.

An Indigo child means to possess paranormal attributes such as the ability to read minds. You are one? In my opinion this is a load of bull.
The Indigo child concept was first publicized in 1999 by the book The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived, written by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. Carroll insists that the concept was obtained via conversations with a spiritual entity known as Kryon.
Sounds like someone needs serious help.
And the reason they are called Indigo Children is because thier aura is supposed to be indigo hued.
I don't believe in auras either.

Carroll insists that the belief replaced into won via conversations with a spiritual entity time-honored as Kryon. sounds like somebody desires severe help. And the reason they're referred to as Indigo little ones is using the fact thier aura is meant to be indigo hued. i do no longer think in auras the two.

I am also a firm believer in LDS Mormonism. According to teachings of the bible & Mormonism, we are taught that anyone can receive spiritual guidance through the Holy Ghost if you seek with real intent. "Ask and it shall be given" "see and ye shall find". You don't have to be indigo or crystal or any other aura type. We are all God's children. He loves us and will answer us when we call upon him. I believe in and have experienced miracles. They continue even today for all who seek.

with respect sweetie
i am not a fan of these labels
these children show a higher degree of intuition than normal with possible mediumistic ablitlities
but i know of many who would not call themself indigo who also have this
i know many who are not born this way but can develop it through learning
the thing that seperates the indigo though is the belief that they are born with an indigo aura ... which as far as i am aware has never been proven .... and the aura is ever changing ( even at birth )
i am sorry i mean no disrespect ... but a psychic is a psychic to me

As far as I can tell, parents are labelling their children 'indigo' in lieu of labels such as 'ADHD', 'entitled', or 'spoiled brat'. They convince themselves that their children have special powers or gifts with no evidence that this is true, and then go around selling books about it and bragging when it's obvious to their neighbors that their kids are just brats.
So what makes you think you have psychic powers? Have you been tested? Go here to win a million bucks for those 'gifts' if you can prove them - www.randi.org .
And I don't want to hear anything about Kirilian photography - that's been debunked so many times, it's not even funny anymore.
