Be confident. Be neat in appearance and smell good. Be friendly and approachable. Smile often. Be humble. Good posture counts and so do all of the old courtesies, like opening a door or pulling out a chair or allowing a woman to go first. So few men do this now that it is a head turner when it does happen. I married the one who turned my head. Twenty odd years later, he's still pulling out my chair and opening my door for me. Lucky me.

You need to go places where you can meet single women. Go to the local grocery store or dept store and ask for help. Most women are willing to give assistance and that could be a way of making conversation.
