I have medium length dark brown curly hair. I am going to the salon today and don't want that much cut off--however I want something different. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have curly hair, and I know what styles go with it. If your hair is long, cut it to the middle of your back. Then, take part of it and make a half-ponytail, with most of your hair still down. Do not go short, I'm warning you, unless your stylist recomends that it goes with your face shape. Also, if your hair is meduim length, cut your hair shoulder-length or a little shorter.

you can cut your hair in layers. It will look good. If you have medium length hair why do you need a cut. I think you will look graet with your natural hair. If you want your hair curls to shine just apply a bit of Hair mousse or conditioner.

Im sorry to say. yet definite, I have curly hair and tried this and OH BOY, did it llook extremely terrifying. If yu straighten it, your hair is going to get damaged. And it isnt well worth it. in case you want edgy basically bypass with a short hair decrease the position your curls will seem stunning! desire this facilitates

dont get it cut tooo much, curly hair looks sooo beauiful down.
if you really want to know how to work with your curls, you should read the book "Curly Girls"
its pretty much amazing.. it shows you how to cut it, how to wash it, what products to use and how to style your specific hair type.. its pretty much amazing!
if you want to have something a little different add some highlights or low lights to your hair!

I have curly hair too...but theres not that much u can do with it, I have long layers and long hair! if u do it to short it will look silly n stick up/out!

loooong hair works best with curls. look at felicity (the t.v. show) its gorgeous. when she cut it, no one even watched the show. whatever you do, do not cut it too short, curls and short hair usually don't work well together.

About 3 inches below the chin. Not too short, but not too long. It'll look great either way, don't worry!

i have curly layers, and they look so good. or if you dont want that just ask the hairdresser what would look best .. they know =]

i guess its lengh gives it beauty dont cut off much hair...you couild cut it into multi lengths but not shortenin it
