I have a clock that also has a light in it. It's sometimes called a S.A.D. clock. It really helps those of us with Season Affective Disorder. When you set the alarm it slowly increases the light until the full 40 watts is "on", then if you're still not up a buzzer goes off. It helps ease you awake instead of that sudden JOLT that a typical alarm clock uses.
Anyway, it stopped working the other day. What happens is you set the clock and it starts to work (mine is set to start illuminating 15 minutes before the buzzer goes off), then one minute before the buzzer goes off the light shuts off and the clock itself freezes. The buzzer doesn't go off and you can't "fix" the clock or turn off the alarm unless you unplug the clock, then it's fine until you set the alarm again. What's going on with my clock? Should I just get a new one, or should I try to get it fixed?

The Biobrite site is the kind I have, but I've heard they are going out of business, so they could be hard to get.

The above are the main sites I've found. You'll notice that it's really just about 3 different clocks, but the prices vary. Also the first one has an MP3 player in it. The same site also has one that has a CD player I think. They're all WAY expensive. That's why I sort of want to get mine fixed.
