The true meaning of Christmas can never be done away with due to the fact that Christ was born, Christ died for the sins of the world and rose from the dead. The material side of the holiday, if that died, retailers would suffer- Christians or non christians alike- but the reason for the season will not be done away with, no matter how hard the world may try.

Christians - after all they keep trying to take sole custody of it!!

Christmas was just the name given to it when they attempted to hijack the midwinter festival and all the ancient rites and traditions. If Christmas was done away with the rest of the world could get on with the happy celebrations in brotherly love, peace and inclusiveness without the lone voice calling it all theirs and trying to put a stop to everything that is not a Christian celebration.

What ever you believe or do not believe have a great festive event and may you all find happiness and peace.

The Chinese would suffer most if Christmas was cancelled. No Christmas - no presents. China makes all the junk in the department stores.

Non-believers. They spend so much time and money on things that are irrelevent to the day. There will always be Christmas for christians, its about Christ, there is no association of Christmas with the commercial idea of decorating and gifts!

The Christian version of Christmas has already been extinct for a long time. So, it would be the nonbelievers who would miss the presents and stuff if the modern Christmas was ended.

Retailers. Christians didn't have Christmas for 324 years. It was so unimportant, no one bothered to remember where the inn in Bethlehem is/was.

Christians would still celebrate Christ's birth - it doesnt have to be on December 25th or be called Christmas..

So I believe non-believers would suffer more.
