This will sound and look weird, but I swear by it - and you'll start seeing results in about a week!

BUTT RAISES!

Lie flat on your back with your knees bent and feet planted on the floor. Keeping your head and shoulders on the floor, push your feet into the ground so that your butt raises up, then lower it until it almost touches the floor. Do about 25 reps at a time.

If you want to make it more difficult and get a better workout from it, try doing this with your knees pressed together. You'll definitely feel the burn!

And the other great thing about this move is that it only takes a minute or two out of your day. Good luck!

forget machines, take up fencing, it keeps my butt in shape, and I get to meet some real tasty ladies - which for a 42 yr old bloke is not bad going.... it also improves your dancing, but I decided to avoid the foil and epee, as the groin is a target, I chose Sabre, and it gets rid of stress, keeps me fit and gets me out of the house.

As a lady, you of course would be able to meet blokes with good butts - but I recommend the foil, it is the only sport, where men and women can compete on a level footing, but women have an advantage, in that you have a lower centre of gravity...

oh, at most clubs you can hire equipment, but you may not like the cheap meal bra cup proctectors, as I am informed by the girls that they are bloody cold, invest in a plastic brest plate, for under your jacket.

I would recommend a treadmill. Walking is probably the best overall exercise...good for your heart and your butt.
