Depends on what and how you are eating and the intensity of the workouts you are doing.

I reccomend limiting your overall calories and reducing carbs while increasing protein. Also, move from 2 or 3 big meals to 5 or 6 small snack size meals (again, utilizing high protein like almonds or cottage cheese as possible meals). This will help increase your metabolism and make your job much easier.

Follow this meal plan with your rigorous exercise program and you will see results within 2 weeks and significant losses by a month. At that point, you will need to be wary of hitting a "plateu". Come back then and we'll talk some more.

Good luck! I know it's hard but you can do it!!!

Dont over power yourself if you cant manage the excersize.Make sure you do stretches before you start getting into the routine of juss jumping into the gym or videos .

During the course of a workout it has been shown that the brain releases chemical called endorphins into the body.(if you dont know what the word endorphins mean :Endorphins
Endorphins are neurotransmitters found in the brain that have pain-relieving properties similar to morphine. There are three major types of endorphins: beta endorpins, found primarily in the pituitary gland; and enkephalins and dynorphin, both distributed throughout the nervous system

The primary effect of these chemicals is as a means to counter the pain and discomfort of a workout. This is one of the ways in which the body deals with the physical stress it is being placed under.

.

The secondary effect of endorphins is to induce a feeling of euphoria - the 'feel good factor'. The harder you push, the greater the feeling of euphoria and the better you feel afterwards. You're not a 'meat head' for wanting to achieve more and push harder, it's just that the harder you work out the better you feel afterwards.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

A long time.

Figure a 200 lb person who walks 2 miles (30 min) a day will only lose 1 pound every 3 weeks.

You can check my blog below for an estimate of how many pounds you need to lose to drop a size.

6 weeks.

BUT.

The quality of exercise is very important. The quality is judged by whether your heart rate is raised to a high level, for the whole 30 minutes. (Your heart rate goes up when your muscles are working hard - and when your muscles are working hard, you are buring calories.)

So for example studies show walking is the least effective method of exercise. In comparison, swimming and running are very effective.

If you stick to what you wrote here, and do hard exercise (not walking), I promise you results within 6 weeks.

AND.

To work, exercise must become an addiction. It must be something you crave every day, for the rest of your life. This is not a temporary diet. This is the new you. You owe it to yourself to not be fat any longer.

It depends what kind of exercise you are doing, but really 30 minutes isn't enough. I run for an hour a day, eat healthy, and there are still times when it is not enough.
