Usually around the summer time peoples hair starts to changes from the sun and the heat .
And the winter it will change as well because of the dampness.

I DON'T KNOW, I was born with "blood red" hair, and at about 3 it turned almost WHITE, since then I've been a blonde, it's darkened a littl eover the last 27 years, but it's CRAZY. I wish I could help ya. another thing, I'm the only one in my family as far back as i can trace the tree that has blonde hair and green eyes. EVERYONE else is brown/brown. Go figure????

Mine was white blonde with ringlets until I was five when it was first cut, it went straight and brown with reddish tints from then on.
It was mousy until I was in my mid twenties when it went almost black, and it is still quite dark with silver grey in it, but not one grey or silver hair arrived until I was fifty... and interestingly, a white 'Mallen' style streak appeared along the top centre, exactly where the last strands of blonde 'child' hair hung on until I was a teenager before turning brown.
I joked with my hairdresser at age fifty-five that I looked like a skunk... she laughed and said, "No, just a very friendly Badger."
I've pondered on why hair changes too;-)
I refuse to dye mine... I just can't wait to see what mother nature will do next, since at 61, I'm still quite dark. I secretly want to go back to the beginning with white blonde, but will probably be iron grey... since i seldom get what I would like in life... ugh;-)

Some people's haircolor just changes gradually as they get older. A common example I see is when a person is born with light blonde, almost white hair and it ends up turning light brown/dirty blonde as the person gets older. My hair was strawberry blonde when I was younger and gradually darkened over the years to black, believe it or not. It just happens to some people.

Sometimes it just changes because of age. Also, as you age your body produces varius hormones that can cause your hair, eye, and skin color to change.
If you want it back, just add some red food dye to your shampoo everytime you wash. Your red luster will slowly return to how it used to be :)
Best wishes!

Your hair color isnt always going to be one color ... It depends if its in your genes to change colors then it does other wise the sun could have something to do with it!! The sun makes it lighter the heat changes the highlights

your hair changes very slightly without you even really noticing, maybe the texture or colour will change, partly due to genetics, partly to do with the environment, and some may argue, the diet that you have
