The Church would be Protestant. It would focus on practical Biblical application.Topics in the Holy Bible would addressed. In addition, I would have a bibliography of important books and articles to be discussed. Some of these would include: Allen, Charles, "God's Psychiatry"; Kushner, Harold, "When Bad Things Happen to Good People"; Meyers, Joyce, "Battlefield of the Mind"; Peale, Norman Vincent, "Power of Positive Thinking," and recent magazine articles would be included.

I have a Ph.D. in history from Auburn University and M.A. in history from West Georgia College. My study included religious history, such as with the Reformation and U.S. religion. Am a saved Christian and minister, who currently preaches at a nursing home and prison.Could an internet ministry be of merit? Its goal would be to simplify the Bible and uplift the Lord .Want to reach enough people to make it worthwhile, but not large. Suggestions about establishing and developing it appreciated, Rev. Dr. Glen

It would be a good idea because some people who don't feel like going to church on Sundays would do a web-church service. Go for it, my suggestion is to make a website for it, reach out to communitites, make a position for the church so people know the fundamental beliefs and hope for the best. Seriusly, I think the idea of a church service online might appeal to some people. And they could watch it anytime on sunday.

Well Rev. - I think it is a superb idea that longs to be implemented as Luther translated the Bible into the language of the people.
I think some form of endorsement would go a long way to getting your site in bulletins etc - maybe even links. Be sure to run an auditor in from the start.
Start: Blogs and YouTube/MySpace are the hot spots for now. There are acres upon acres of Christian writers longing to have their material on line.
Also The Rev. Dr. etc. in history and church planting

It's a great idea, but difficult to impement. We know that church is the body of Christ, and the basic principles of church as in Act is to for gathering, serve each other, and share what we have to others. Now you want to build a church on Internet, it's not the same as we build dotcom business. There's a lot of things we have in church can not be share to the Internet, like submission, devotion, offering, and practicing simple Bible teaching like kindness, patient, tenderness, that achieved through relationship with the other Christian. I don't know what it said in English, maybe, "iron sharpening iron"? hehehe....
The main point is, Church goal is to preparing a Christian to be mature in Christ as his bride. Can Internet church achieve this? You have to prepare this well enough. But you must know that I'm supporting you 100%! Gbu.

besides to the different posters: The previous testomony, The Septuagint [translated from Hebrew to Greek someplace 250 BC] became in placed at that element, used even until now Jesus' time. the recent testomony became written 35-a hundred advert and translated to latin by ability of St Jerome, in specific circumstances 4 hundred advert. it continues to be on parchments and study interior the church, or preached orally. So, there is not any NEW TESTAMENTS IN A e book/BIBLE style at that element compiled with Septuagint.' Bible on my own' theory isn't in existence at that element as there is not any e book to call bible. It became using Oral custom up until 1400 whilst the 'compiled e book style bible' finally hit the printing press. In different words, it took the Catholic Church approximately 4 hundred years of accumulating, modifying, and sorting the classic manuscripts and have been given revealed in 1400. there have been additionally lots of uninspired writings [apocryphal books] that have been floating around that weren't cannonized.
