Let's say both of us are arguing. He sarts it. My dad comes downstairs and sees us fighting. He stops the fight, and I get sent to my room, and he gets no punishment whatsoever. Then I get things taken away from me, and when I try to explain, my dad blames it all on me. When I try to tell him what my brother did, I get grounded even longer for bringing him into the conversation.

Well, if your looking just to deal with it obeying would be the best thing to do. Specifics would help with a more desirable answer.

It seems your parents find it easier to deal with you. Perhaps, they lack authority over your brother and feel the need to assert power over someone.

Or

Your dad only caught you doing wrong jumped to the wrong conclusions. Parents hate being wrong and and hate even more admitting they were wrong.

Don't be upset with your brother. If your parents can't handle the situation it's not his fault. He's just playing the role that fits.

Apparently you live with a couple of male chauvinist. Stay away from your brother. When you see him coming ignore him or go somewhere else. Go hang out with your friends. That way, you aren't around enough for your brother who is apparently bored; to bother you.

yea that sounds really unfair i sometimes get blamed for stuff that i don't do either.. they might of blamed you because your the one that gets in trouble more? and i would say if your brother really has a heart he would tell your parents that he was the one that started it and im sure he'll feel bad about it sometime if not now

If your brother doesnt step up to the plate...he's an @ss! If you won't tell on him...than you have to sit tight and take the punishment...

Make your brother pay through the nose...he's a jerk!

You print this out and then fo talk to them... sit them BOTH down and explain like an adult that you did not do what they are accusing of.

Defend yourself to them repsectfully and if they have any brains they will see if you are lying or telling the truth.

Plain and simple~!!

YOU HAVE NO CHOICE ,BUT TO DEAL WITH YOUR PARENTS. ASK YOU PARENTS WHY YOU ARE GROUNDED FOR THE SAME THING THAT YOUR OLDER BROTHER DID.
