What you can do though is go for layers with curly hair so that if you desire a bang look you can sweep the shorter layers of hair off to the side of your face for a bang affect.

It depends how curly your hair is. Side bangs work really well with loose waves. The more curlier your hair, the longer your bangs should be, otherwise they will curl.

I would have to say no...If you have curly hair let the bangs grow out. You dont want to have your them sticking straight out.

If you have loose curls and long hair, it might work. Otherwise, I think it's too risky and doesn't look very good.
