Make sure you dress appropriately - don't wear jeans, but don't get too fancy. If you're not going to dinner first, make sure that you eat something before you go, that way your tummy won't be growling through the show and you won't be a cheap drunk if you get drinks afterwards. Smile a lot, and be yourself. Have fun!

TONIGHT, here are some helpful hints.
Dont sleep during the performance. Glance at him during to see what his reactions are to the show. And grab his hand instead of waiting for him to hold yours.
Do not, under any circumstances, wear a big hat. That will upset the people sitting behind you.

It's good that it's both of your first...that way it'll be equally awkward.
If you get the guy to laugh (although don't make jokes at everything) then it's usually more simple for them. Keep conversation going, be nice, and if it's there then it'll work - if not, no biggie.
Mostly, and this is very important (and it's a cliche for a reason) be yourself!

Act natural. Try to get to know him. Don't be too distant, but don't be all over him. Like hold hands or something like that. After that, the boy will probably do the rest of the work.

I am so tempted to say something about having fun cracking his nuts but I will refrain. Just be yourself, and enjoy the show. Put no pressure on yourself, and you will do fine.

ur 2 cute!!
its just a date, it will be ok! you dont have to do anything, just be your normal self. dont over due on the make up, and wear something cute (if your at least 17, wear something sexy). just dont forget deodorant, because you will sweat from being nervous. bring a camera if you'd like, just put it in your purse, and if a special moment comes up, you can take a pic with him. oh, and i recomend mints over gum, just trust me.

OK..so it's your first date and his right? just relax and even if you are, don't act all excited...you might freak him out...so when you guys see something really sweet or nice then you might want to slightly put your head against his shoulder....and be sweet....have fun!!
