It looks like a benign lesion but it looks a little irritated, could be caused by scratching it or your clothes rubbing on it. The abcd's of growths are a good way to check out growths.
A= asymmetry) pretend you can fold the lesion in half, is it pretty even? A nice rounded lesion is what your looking for.
B= Borders) are the borders even or are they notched? Your looking for nice even borders.
C= Color) Your looking for a nice even tan or brown color throughout the whole lesion. You don't want areas of black or red mixed in with brown.
D=Diameter) is the diameter bigger than a pencil eraser? This one usually is the last thing that derms rely on because most lesions benign or malignant are normally larger than a pencil eraser so don't think that just because it may seem bigger, it is malignant.
Your lesion is uniform in shape and color and looks like a lesion called an intradermal nevus which is something we all get. Most people think that raised lesions are the dangerous ones which in fact is the opposite, it is the flat lesions that you have to watch out for. Make sure you check with your derm about this growth, please don't trust anyone 100% when they are just looking at a picture. Happy Holidays

very last week my husband went to the dermatologist's P.A.. He basically iced over it off good then and there. (It replaced into on his nostril) yet I have heard the position they do take a biopsy first, besides the indisputable fact that it would not damage . So i wager it relies upon on what you've, and how a lot known practitioner you get. Be satisfied that's on your decrease back. because the scab isn't actual acceptable. do not %. it!! lol :) -L

If in doubt, then see the doctor. he/she should be able to tell you if it's OK or not. If it's suspicious the doctor will remove it. Removal of a mole is very simple and they do a biopsy right away.

I would get it checked by the doctor. And there is no way to reference size by your picture.
