It's not the fact that she is a friend. It's the fact that she is younger. You know the saying... Old men want young women. And remember it takes two to cheat.. You should also ask, why young girls want to sleep with older married men. The fact that she is a friend only made it easier for them to do it.

in a lot of marriages it gets very slow and both sides do not talk LIKE they SHOULD talk, and he tries a couple of times to get some at home and then goes else where..I am not making excuses for him ..just stating the facts. some times bedroom time is held hostage, and he gives up and cheats, after all he goes many months with out he goes out and finds it... does not make if right, but he does..that is in general..
now this girl has been looking good to him for over 14yrs, that's one of them...and maybe a few of the above pushed him to her.
so always talk your problems out, and play a lot at home everyone...

The only reason he would cheat on his wife, with a friend, is that he is a creep. he has totally shunned his responsibility to his wife and children and he is taking advantage of a teenager.
Does his wife know? If not she should be told so that she can dump this loser.

He's manipulated a young woman who he's known for a long time. I hope his wife finds out, the man is dispicable.
