I have a co-worker who has the same problem. He's allergic to certain types of alcohol (specifically, beer and any kind of whiskey). In his case, however, he also swells up and it can constrict his airway. This is NOTHING to mess around with, my friend. Be VERY CAREFUL when consuming any type of alcoholic beverage. If you feel your tongue beginning to swell or start to have trouble breathing, get to the nearest Emergency Room RIGHT AWAY. P.S.: My co-worker has been like this since he was 19 (he's now 54), so I don't think it goes away.

Alcohol reacts diverse with each and each individual. everybody will grow to be very heat and could have some exchange interior the tint of the floor. you will possibly be reacting to that. It additionally relies upon at this way of alcohol which you're ingesting. i in my view am allergic to beer and wine. when I drink it I commence out by utilising having quite heat, pink--after a on an analogous time as this is going away and then i'm getting discomfort via my chest and palms (elbows soreness, palms soreness, chest hurts) this regularly lasts me a minimum of an entire day--no longer delicate. a number of this may well be a reaction to how that's brewed or the fermentation technique and in people that's because of the fact companies upload issues which incorporate sulfates to it to help shield it longer. various everybody is allergic to sulfates (incredibly in case you have pink hair--ordinary, yet authentic). So, you will possibly be having an allergic reaction OR one that is general for you. possibly attempt ingesting something thoroughly diverse and notice what happens.

I don't itch all over when I drink alcohol, but sometimes when I drink beer my neck & chest get all splotchy red. I figure it's some sort of allergic reaction...but be careful since you (or whoever the "person" is you speak of) itch too!

Alcohol will dehydrate your body, dying out your skin that will eventually make you itch. In the winter time the air is obviously drier making the dehydration worse. Alergies are also a good possibility so be careful.

It's an allergic reaction, probably to one of the ingredients in the beverage. Keep track of which drinks you react to, and stay away from them!
