I'm was quiet with this girl on a first date. But what do i talk about?

When you're with her, keep your eyes and ears open.
Comment on what you observe around you. For example, suppose a police car passes by, make a reasonably intelligent comment about it. Something like, "could be another heart attack in a telephone booth". (This is true, I was a witness to one and I loved the way the police handled it). Or a long queue outside a cinema could prompt a comment like "Must be a good movie, have you read its review?" or "The review was lousy, how come people are queueing up?" Or maybe a comment on a passer-by's weird dress sense.
Most boy-girl conversations on first dates have commonplace beginnings, and then carry on from there. Listen to what she says, and see her expressions. Don't agree with everything she says. That's most boring, and a sure turn-off.
IMPORTANT. Read the paper daily. You must be aware of what's going on. Not necessarily at at a deep level like economic and political issues if that doesn't suit you, but certainly of important events. But if economic and political issues are of interest to both of you, then talk about them by all means.

well you cnat just tlak about hwat you've been doing because you dont no her. Ask her questions but not to many because its nosey! and she will start to feel uncomfortable. Where did you grow up? - questions about the past but not about what she wants to do in the future because if she turns round and says kids and a husband then she might scare you off. Any siblings? - bring her family into the conversation it will make her feel better because not all the questions are about her. What does she like doing in her spare time? - be carefully with these questions ,dont ask what she does at the weekend because every girl does different things on different weekends im sure she doesnt have a routine on a weekend. Ask questions you wouldnt mind her asking you because she will proberly ask the smae question back. Good luck xx

try to talk about her n look interested in what she says let her do the chattin ask her questions bout things she likes hobbies she does n so on, what ever u do tho don't talk about past relationship on first dates this is a no no lol its something u do once u get to know her alot better, also remember to be the gentleman pull her chair out tuck her chair in after she sat down, open doors order her food for her make choices for her make her feel that your interested in her for her n not just what she has on offer ;)

Talk about the things that you do and don't like and ask her the things that she do and don't like in that way you would get to know her and she would get to know you in a smart way and you would've struck a conversation. get her to talk. ask her questions. dont talk about typical things like politics and the weather. noone really likes to talk about those things. get her to talk about herself. and then you can respond to what she says and you can tell her about yourself. that is what dates are for. theyre to have fun and get to know eachother. so make sure you go somewhere that isnt boring. it doesnt necasarrily have to be "fun" but it cant be boring.
