as picking on people, saying false bad stuff about them, or just yelling at others because they just happen to disagree...what is your take on that???? I am not buying that THEY DO NOT KNOW....sure they do..i know what i do...!!! but i feel it is best to try to get away IF you can...anyway, i feel an abuser knows he is an abuser...I AM SURE PEOPLE HAVE TOLD HIM!!!

I think it depends on the type of abuse. Physical abuse absolutely, verbal abuse, most likely, emotional I'm not so sure about. A lot of times people say and do things without trying to hurt the other, but it happens anyway. I think some verbal and emotional abuse isn't clear cut.

i think it depends on what type of abuse you are talking about. my boyfriend thinks that i am mean and that i think im better than others and argumentative. LOL im just a woman..anyways. I dont feel that way about myself, i think sometimes people judge your actions or take your actions differently than you intend them to be and that could make someone think you are a way that you are not. Now with physical abuse yeah they know and they just dont care, but with emotional abuse i think that they might not know they are hurting someone they just do or say what they feel or think not knowing it will hurt the other person. Just a thought

Most people do it because they lack self-esteem and they are afraid of not being in control of a situation. They attempt to feel good about themselves by abusing other people, it doesn't work but they keep on trying anyway.

A lot of people don't want to take responsibility for there actions it's so much easier to blame others for your flaws
