Yes, it is very possible, especially if your son is also dehydrating. I've gotten my share of headaches from getting overheated.

Yes getting to hot can cause a headache, your other 2 may not be as sensitive to the heat as this one or they may not be as active as this one. With it being winter time now is not the time to be bring the kids out after being in such a hot house, due to increasing the chances them catching a cold.
I would just tell the b-sitter that her house is too warm for the children and ask if she could possibly lower the temperature to a more comfortable temp such as 75 to 76. A lot of people that b-sit keep their homes warmer than usual to keep the kids from being so active. More heat less they wanna move around.
Being up front is the best way. I hope this helps.

At times in winter the air becomes quite dry to begin with add dry high heat and it becomes worse. Most times the sinus cavity is bothered by not enough moisture causing blockage and head pain; dehydration also causes this.
I would up his liquid intake and ask the babysitter if she could possibly run a humidifier around his play area during his stay there (the moisture actually makes you feel warmer ).
Instead of drugs, when he gets home try running hot water in sink, place a towel over the sink and have him underneath breathing in the steam. A shower, bath or something hot and steamy also helps clear the sinus cavities. Buying a humidifier is great to have especially when you have a bad cold and can't breathe.
Good luck

How does she heat her house? Is it gas or electric.I was always told that if you use gas or butane , that if there are any fumes leaking, it hovers about head-high when a grown person is sitting.Have you ever noticed, if you are in a room with someone smoking , that the smoke all hovers at one level? Gas fumes do that too.If she has gas through a company like Atmos or something, she can call them and they can come inspect it for leaks for free.I hope this helps.Merry Christmas!!

The heat could be a reason for his headaches, but it also could be an allergic reaction to something in her house. You should ask her to turn down the heat.

I bet it is the heat, he is probably getting dehydrated which does cause headache, and will certainly be from the heat.
You should just have a gentle word with her and explain, you wont upset her.
You are a concerned mother and there is nothing wrong with that....good luck.

it may be affecting his sinus cavities and drying them out, i wonder if you could talk to a doctor about giving him some saliene drops for his nose, dry heat does that to me and i have to use sailene drops like "Little Noses" they are the least harmful
