Yes you are not alone. Of course you have to eat high protein low carbs, and make your fats good fats like olive oil and avacado.
Certainly a lot of your problem is probably your belly and your booty. For your belly do crunches and but lifts every morning. FIFTY of each no matter how long it takes you and fight the last one down to the ground. Second for the posterior portion, do super squats. at least 20 per day. Squat down , with no weights, and the jump up in the air. It will make your buttocks beautiful and ripe and juicy as a peach.
Finally you must do some form of aerobic activity for 30 min with medium, can cary on a winded conversation for most of it and finish with a high intensity sprint for one min and a five min cool down at low intensity. Aerobics min, 3 per week. Sounds like a lot perhaps but it will only take about 2 - 3 hours per week total and your worth it.
Of course the alternative is to be a chunky momma.
Its not the size of your butt that is important, its the firmness.
Think beyonce, or miss janet if your nasty.

Your worth it.

Before having my daughter, I weighed a lovely 8 stone. During pregnancy I ballooned to 15 stone. After that, I found it very hard to shift the pounds..I tried the Atkins diet, the Slimming World diet and even tried to limit what I ate in the day but nothing seemed to help.. that was until I went on the Weight Watchers plan! Although I didnt get back to my pre pregnancy state, I managed to get down to a size 12 instead of a size 8 - 10 and everyone comments how much healthier I look these days!
If you havent tried the Weight Watchers plan, give it a go. You can still eat anything you like, just in sensible portions. If you have tried and failed the W.W plan, then consider purchasing the 'I can make you slim' book and CD by Paul Mckenna - it really does work! Also, make sure you are drinking at least a litre and a half of water (or fluids) a day to maintain fluid balance and help keep the extra pounds away - water is known for its slimming properties!!

Good luck!

Lee f - I take it you are a man and never been in a position of trying to lose post birth weight?? The woman I know that are stick thin afterwards were the stick thin ones to begin with and have never had any issues with weight in their lives, eat what they want, blah blah. However, there are those that try hard as they can and it seems to make little impact over a very long period of time. Giving birth isn't just a case of popping a baby and hey presto - ping! Body snaps back into shape. The body has been under hormonal seige for 9 months and for some those hormones keep a running for a long long time afterwards. Of course a healthy diet and exerise all help but it's not everyone's blessing that it 'falls off' afterwards. As for shape - you have 3 pregnancies and give birth to children whose weight adds up to about 24 pounds and then see what shape you're left with. The muscles certainly aren't the same and god bless the pull in knickers!

Now, as for the actual question. Is this your first baby? and is 2 months the length of time since giving birth? If yes to both questions then I'd not worry if I were you. It is still very early days and morderate healthy eating and rest and exercise will all help to get things back on track, but there is no time limit on when you should achieve all this. Some achieve in months (not me) others need a lot longer (like me for example) Your body will never ever be the same again and for most, things need adapting as the old rules of weight loss don't always apply. For me I am more limited in the kinds of exercise I can now do as I now have back problems since giving birth and so the likes of sit ups and 'hard impact' exercise aggrivate my complaint so I needed to find a whole new range of things to do.

Take your time, enjoy your baby and be glad your body let you give birth to a a miracle of nature.

I'm having the same problem as you. My daughter is 17 months old and I have only lost like 30 lbs. I guess that's good compared to some women but we expect it to come right off. It takes work! Try walking for an hour nonstop daily. Get the baby outside and find a track to go to, or just walk around the neighborhood. Slowly try to build up to jogging or running. It's very therapeutic, and it start the weightloss process. I've been walking/jogging for 2 mos now, and my body is really slimming up. It's not so much weight coming off, but it's inches! Also, I drink 2 tsp of vinager before every meal, mixed with some orange juice, and it gives me energy, puts me in a good mood, and vinager is really good about burning fat throughout the body. Try doing some exercise videos. It's hard doing all of this with a new baby but it has to be done so we can get out bodies back. Good Luck!

Yes...it took me a while. I had lost about half of it when I got pregnant again. I put on more than the first time! It then took 4 years before I got back to a weight I was happy with. I'm pregnant now and it's totally different....Just baby weight...from the back my hubby says I look the same...it's just when I turn round I knock everyone over!
Don't make unreasonable targets for weight loss after pregnancy...your body can take a long time to level out...if you are breastfeeding dieting is probably not advisable..it depends if you are DIETING or eating healthily...keep up a mild detox diet...plenty fresh fruit, nuts and steamed veg...no ready meals or foods with additives, drink your daily water allowance...I know it's tough when there is a new baby to have time to really have time for yourself...Don't try and rush your weight loss. GOOD LUCK...

Oh yea my 2nd baby is 8 months and I have not lost a pound since right after I had her. I have recently started weight watchers and I have lost 3 pds in 4 days. Plus I bought a treadmill. If you have weight to lose you will lose it. After my 1st child the weight fell of in two years by itself. It just takes forever. Good luck

I always gained 40 lbs with each of my 3 pregnancies. I never lost it really until now. 7 years after my last baby.

I have had great results with an all natural product called Isagenix.

This product is only available by distributor.

I don't know but I wanted to say that I know women big as a boat after they had their kids and I know women who are slim and trim as if they didn't have any kids at all. I heard it's not having children that does this to your body, it's habits formed and mental
prompters that keeps the weight on...
