According to my CPA, I have a million dollars (half in assets).
I spend my money probably the same way you spend yours. I buy things that are needed, I buy a few things that will give me some entertainment, and I save some money for a rainy day.
What about extravagant buying in the hope of a warm and fuzzy feeling?
Well, security is a warm and fuzzy feeling. -
enough said?.

the first thing i would do is set up trust fund for my niece who is severely autistic she will never be able to live on her own or work or anything so I'd set it up so that her parents can have more help and so that when they pass she'll be taken care of by family members but they would not have to worry about the finical burden, if there was any left (i imagine it would take lots of money to assure her future) i would buy or put a down payment on a house.

The two girl looking for a radio station to help them, would get my attention first, I am amazed that they are not able to find help with everyone collecting for the poor and needy. Then I would buy a new home for myself, and ask my sister to visit and perhaps stay with me. I would help others directly rather than give funds to help the indigent

I would put half of it to the foundation we set up this year to help kids after my brother died (he did a ton of volunteer work with kids).
I would invest the other half into my business and try to grow it big, so that plenty of non-profits would benefit in the long run.

I would:
*pay my tithing.
*pay off my husband's schooling and loans
*pay off our car and buy my husband a truck that doesn't break down
*buy a modest home and get out of renting crappy places
*pay for my son's speech and occupational therapies
*put the rest into savings for us to retire as well as for our son's future.

A farm. I want to establish a place so no one has to be homeless. Therapy, job training, family counselling, or in some cases, a forever place.
