Mum has moved back to Ireland, I live in England.
Not seen her since last christmas, shes coming over on saturday to spend christmas again.
She is like a little irish pixie. 4 foot 10 tall, Very proud of her heritage, 61 years old, grows and sells her own fruit and veg at market. Has 22 beehives and sells her own honey. Was actually made queen bee in the all Ireland honey championship, and came 3rd in the world. (its true)! (Nice honey believe me). If there was a crowd of a hundred people and mum laughed, you would hear it a mile away. Used to make me cringe when I was little, now I just laugh with her.
She also looks after a 25 yr old boy with cerebral palsy to give the mum a break. When I was younger she was a home help looking after old ladies. She would leave us on christmas day to go and see them all and give them dinner.
She was a head cook in a Dublin hotel, so when I say nobody can cook like my mum, I mean it.
I wish I told her more often that I love her, but its hard to say if you dont normally. Looking back on what I have written, I think she is super mum...

She's my best friend ... we have so many of the same interest ... we listen to the same music ... we hang out together all the time ... I'm 25 and she's 41 (in a few days .. lol .. ) we have that weird mother daughter bond thing going ... when I lived in Germany for two years I came home to visit and we had the same toothbrush, conditioner & same panties ( different sizes ) it was so funny I thought she stole my underwear for some reason ... we didn't talk for months before I went home so it was strange having the same stuff ... !
She's very moody though & pretty emotional ... anything can make her cry ... that's one thing we don't have in common ... she taught me a lot ... good or bad ... at least I know where I get my traits from ... now my dad is a different story ... lol ... !

My mum is one funny lady, she has put up with such a lot, 4 kids, 2 violent husbands but she's still standing. She is so strong and will do anything for anyone. She recently changed jobs and now works with "problem children", she's a magical lady.

My mommy is okay, but at times she just get on my nerves and makes me upset like just a while ago me and my boyfriend broke up and i want to talk to her. We was in the car and i was telling her how i felt and everything and it was like she was throwing what i was saying back in my face and i hated that, then she tried to make me feel better by telling me jokes. After that i didnt talk to her for a while.
Sometimes she is really sweet. She sometimes drop me off and put me up from school, when she is off of work. Just yesterday we was in the car and we rode around and had some girl time together, you know just listening to music, telling jokes to each other and playing and stuff. It was really ok.
All in all i love my mom. Most of the time we get along, but it is those days where she just makes me mad and make me want to just hurt her.

Oh god my mum became such an dazzling prepare dinner! She taught me properly too - it tastes extra suitable while somebody else chefs for you nevertheless! Stew and dumplings, Hotpot, Shepherds pie, Liver and Onions, Spagetti Cheese, clean bread, gee something my mum made became the suitable! and she or he used to bake brownies and make the main surprising deserts. x

more like her own mother everyday. She interferes in my life when her own needs sorting and she falls out with me for ever at least once a month and vows never to talk to me again. To be honest shes not particulary good at being a mother but shes the only one I have. If the worse came to the worse she would be there for me

Mine doesn't deserve the title of mother actually, she ran off when I was a kid, and I would only see her very irregulary.
she's a nightmare even now, I haven't had any contact with her for two years, for a huge number of reasons. She is so bad that half her own family won't have anything to do with her.
