how do you download off podtropolis?

when i press download it just says that my computer doesn't recognise the file? is there some sort of software I need?

Yes, Podtropolis is a Bit Torrent tracker. All you download from them is the .torrent file. You will need a BitTorrent client in order to pick up the rest of the Podcast from the other sources. There are many BitTorrent clients available. Azureus is one of the most commonly used clients, but there are many others.
