Cuz some guys like to be called that because i know i use to call my ex boo all the time and he kind of like it ( Well, to my knowledge, cuz he didnt said he didnt). It is nice to call the one you love a cute little name like boo or sweetheart or pumkin. It feels nice to just know you got somebody, so they just call them that.

the proper term "boo" when it started waaaaaaaaay back before it became a term of endearment. saying you were in boo was saying that you were madly in love with someone
so when you say your boo... your madly in love with that person
