My boyfriend got XM Radio back in May and he also got rid of it back in May. Well I just found out that he's been getting charged for it. It has been automatically deducted out of his account. So I ask him why and why doesn't he call them and say you want a complete refund. He tells me not to worry about it. That it's only 13 dollars, he doesn't care. But I said 13 dollars adds up. He just says I'll handle it. So he calls and they say okay we'll refund your money, come to find out the refunded only December and he's fine with that. I try to talk to him about it but he says stop nagging him. How is it nagging when it's about money not me asking him to take out the trash everyday. So my question is, Why isn't he really concerned about money being taken out of his account? He says, "It's not like it's 50 dollars a month, it's only 13 dollars." As a woman that makes NO sense at all!!! So men tell me how I, as a woman, can get him to see that he should care about this.

It also happened on an item on Ebay. We never recieved it and because it was only 5 dollars his response is "oh well"! He works 2 jobs so he can make ends me for us and our daughter. So if he stresses so much over this then why doesn't he care about the "little things".

He is very stressed about working two jobs but our conversations revovle around money. If it's such a huge topic then why wouldn't he get mad at the people that are taking away his hard earned money. I would think he would want to save every penny.

to be perfectly honest,i don't have an good answer for you...some people are just frivolous with money...it annoys the hell out of me too.

an ex girlfriend of mine used to buy a bottle of pop, drink some of it,leave it on the counter, come back to it an hour or two later, say it's warm and throw it out...like wft !! is it too hard to put it in the fridge to cool back down?

these are the people that are completely broke when they are senior citizens cause they burn through money like it's water when they are young

Quit nagging him! It's his money...as long as he's taking care of you and your daughter...let him throw it in the trash if he wants to. Nobody likes to be nagged...and the fact that you mentioned your conversations usually revolve around money makes it seem that he gets nagged about money on a regular basis! Mention things once...maybe twice...and then let it be. Maybe he's using the 13 dollar subscription to listen online...you CAN do that with an XM subscription!

If he's working 2 jobs, he probably doesn't have time. If he can give you passwords to his account(s), you can do it for him.
