well it is not a penis temple but more like a fertility shrine i come across when having day trip to outlying islands in phuket/krabi - thailand.
forgot the name of the island....
but they have all sort of size, colour and shape of carved wooden penis on display.. some is even as tall as me (1.7m).

I think you are looking at Japan, Definitely NOT Thailand.
