My friend is 25 years old and is dating this fat girl and for some reason I hate it. He has never really had a serious girlfriend before so I know that he is just going though that "first gf thing" When they first met they would talk crap about each other and just happened to have sex one night when they were drunk and have been together ever since. (it been 2 years now) She is pretty cool but I always expected my friend and I to find a couple of cool and really attractive girls. We are both good looking and now educated so how could give up "the dream" so easily. They both are just getting fatter and fatter and I feel like we have less in common by the day. What do I do?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Your friend may think this "fat girl" is beautiful. Be happy that your friend is happy! I have met beautiful people and not so beautiful people and more often then not the not so beautiful are the ones you can trust more and have more fun with. Why is it because she is fat he has given up his dream? As long as she is good to him and treats him with respect, nothing else should matter to you. Would you rather have him with a bombshell that spends all of his money, treats him like dirt and prevents him from spending time with his friends? Again, just be happy he's happy, that's what friends are for. Stop looking at the bookcover and look at the pages within. Merry Christmas.

Maybe you're jealous and you don't want to admit it. Your friend's girlfriend's size doesn't matter. All that matters is that he's happy. If he weren't happy then you'd have a reasonable cause to not like the fact that they are going out. You should worry about yourself and finding you a good girlfriend based on her personality because looks will follow. If you feel like you have less in common by the day then tell your friend you think you're moving a part. Maybe, you both need to hang out and see what's changed.

It sounds like youre upset with your friend because you feel as though he is ruining YOUR plans. It's okay. You can still find a skinny hot girl to be with. If your friend is happy then why would you want to take that away from him. Watch the way he acts around her. Is he smiling and having a good time? Do you notice him light up whenever she is around? I know you think its not the "cool" thing for your friend to be doing, dating a big girl and all, but apparently it seems as though he doesn't care what anyone else thinks. Just let him be happy and spend your time trying to find a girl thats going to make you happy.

It seems to me your friend is very happy and therefore stay out of it. Some just like a lot of meat, I sometimes don't understand it either but the main thing is the character, the sense of humor not the weight that makes a lovable, beautiful person.

It sounds like you are jealous of your friend because he is happy and you are not. He is obviously the better person because he is not as shallow as you. You seem like you will never be happy in love because unlike your friend, you can't look past a person's outer beauty and see the person they are inside. It seems to me that you are just jeoulous to the fact that your freind and you are not as close as you guys used to be.You have to consdier the fact that your freind may be in love and things do happen for a reason when thought out well.Not just by accidents but what I think you should do is talk to your freind and how you feel rember love comes in all shapes and siezes.
