It depends on ur player, in general cheaper players will play any reg dvd. branded players never really play multi reg.best way to find out is to buy a reg1 dvd cheaply on ebay if it works keep it, if not sell it again on ebay,
ps on the back of your player there should be a world shape and a number in it eg 1 if not its another sign it plays mutli reg and put dvd codes in your search engine and it might give u a code u put in your dvd player via remote, warrenty will be gone if u do this however
