Your dialup connection speed can't go any faster than it's physically capable of. In the US, that's something less than 56 kbs.

If you're looking to speed up your web browsing, then you could install web accelleration software from a variety of sources, including your dialup ISP provider (AOL, Earthlink, etc), which will selectively compress and cache your most-often-viewed webpages, thereby speeding up the display process.

If you're talking about streaming audio/video or VoIP stuff like Vonage or Skype, you'll have to bite the bullet and go broadband.
