It doesn't sound like it's because she's in heat but maybe has a kidney infection or something. If you are financially able, I would definitely take her to the vet. If not, take her to a local shelter and they will find her some medical attention. It's awesome that you took the time to care. The world needs more people like us animal lovers!
Who knows, maybe she is meant to be yours!

It sounds like a urinary tract infection. This is definitely something that needs to be looked at. If you are not financially able I would try and catch a urine sample and take it to your local Vet. Just explain that it's a stray cat and you want to have a urinalysis done on the sample. I'm not sure whether your Vet would be willing to prescribe a medication without actually seeing the cat but my vet would as long as the urinalysis had been done.

It might be crystals. The cat would need medication for this. It could also be that the blood is too acidic. A change in its diet could stop this from happening. As to what kinds of change--I don't know, I'm not a vet. Different problems call for different changes in diet.
The cat was a stray, so it probably wasn't eating well to begin with.

In most cases this cat can have urnal tract infection and worms. Take it to the vet and they will be the best to find out if that is the case. Check the stools too. If blood or worms are there then infection is a almost promise.

Probably a bladder infection and she should get some antibiotics. My kitty had an going problem with this and as a result, started peeing everywhere. The vet told me he associated his litter box with pain, and kept trying to find new places to pee that didn't hurt.
For her ongoing health, feed her low-ash cat food (any major pet store, like Petco has this).

It sounds like she has kidney problems, which cna be fixed with medication, and diet. A cat whose diet is high is ASH will have kidney problems, and this usually is most promenent in Male cats rather than female cats. I would take her to the vet though for an examination.

The cat probably has a bladder infection. You should take him to the vet. Not only because of the blood issue, but since it's a stray cat it may not have it's shots for rabies and worms.

If it is a female and there is blood, she probably has a urinary tract infection and needs to be on antibiotics. If itis a male and there is blood, he could have a urinary blockage. In either situation, the kitten needs to be seen asap.

Ok, that's potentially very bad, you need to take her to a vet. It could be a bladder or kidney infection or the beginnings of a urethral blockage, which can be fatal.
